Eutrig HP 5000 IU is a prescription injection containing Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG), a hormone used to treat fertility-related conditions in both men and women. Manufactured by Samarth Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., this medication mimics the action of luteinizing hormone (LH), which is essential for reproductive function.

In women, Eutrig HP is primarily used to induce ovulation (release of eggs) in those undergoing assisted reproductive treatments like IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) or IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). It helps mature the ovarian follicles and trigger their release.

In men, it stimulates the testes to produce testosterone and sperm, making it useful in treating hypogonadism, delayed puberty, and infertility caused by low sperm count. It is also used in boys with undescended testicles (cryptorchidism) when the condition is not caused by an obstruction.

The injection is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder that must be reconstituted with a sterile solvent before intramuscular or subcutaneous administration.
