Be sure that your family or caregiver knows which symptoms may be serious so they can call the doctor if you are unable to seek treatment on your own.

Nicogum Transdermal 14 mg Patch 7's belongs to a group of medications called nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) used to reduce the craving for smoking and tobacco use. Nicotine is a chemical present in tobacco that causes addiction. Taking nicotine through smoking or chewing tobacco for a prolonged period causes nicotine addiction that increases the risk of various medical problems like heart disease, lung disease and cancer.

Nicogum Transdermal 14 mg Patch 7's contains Nicotine that acts as a smoking cessation aid. It helps quit smoking and tobacco use by slowly adjusting your body to have less craving to use nicotine. As a result, over a period of time, you will not crave nicotine anymore.

You are advised to use Nicogum Transdermal 14 mg Patch 7's for the duration your doctor prescribes based on your medical condition. Sometimes, you may experience itchy skin, skin-blushing rash, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain or hives (skin rash triggered by a reaction to medicines, food or other irritants). If you are allergic to Nicogum Transdermal 14 mg Patch 7's or any other medicines, please inform your doctor. Do not use Nicogum Transdermal 14 mg Patch 7's if you are a non-smoker. Avoid using Nicogum Transdermal 14 mg Patch 7's if you are breastfeeding, as nicotine is found in breastmilk that may harm your infant. If you are pregnant, try to quit smoking without using medicines containing nicotine or use Nicogum Transdermal 14 mg Patch 7's only after consulting your doctor. Nicogum Transdermal 14 mg Patch 7's is not recommended for children below 18 years. If your child uses or swallows a patch accidentally, consult your doctor immediately.
