Augmentin DDS Syrup 30 ml belongs to a group of antibiotics known as penicillin antibiotics. It is generally prescribed to prevent middle ear and sinus infections, throat or lung respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, soft tissue infections, dental infections, and joint and bone infections.

Augmentin DDS Syrup 30 ml consists of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin acts by destroying the outer protein layer, thereby killing the bacteria (bactericidal action). Clavulanic acid inhibits the enzyme beta-lactamase, which prevents bacteria from destroying the efficacy of amoxycillin. As a result, the action of Clavulanic acid allows Amoxycillin to work better and kill the bacteria. Augmentin DDS Syrup 30 ml does not work against infections caused by viruses, including colds and flu.

The dose of Augmentin DDS Syrup 30 ml can vary depending on your condition and the severity of the infection. Also, it is recommended to complete the course of medicine even if you feel better as it is an antibiotic, and leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection that will, in fact, stop responding to the antibiotic as well (antibiotic resistance). Vorier 200mg injection is an antifungal drug that contains an active ingredient called Voriconazole. It belongs to the medication class known as fungal ergosterol synthesis inhibitor. It is prescribed for severe, life-threatening fungal infections and as a preventive measure for high-risk individuals, including those who have undergone bone marrow transplantation. This medicine should not be given to children younger than 2 years of age.  

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Voriconazole or other medical ingredients. Before taking Vorier 200mg injection, it is important to notify your doctor if you have had an allergic reaction to other azoles, suffer from or have a history of liver disease, or have cardiomyopathy, irregular heartbeat, slow heart rate, or an abnormality of the electrocardiogram (ECG) called 'long QTc syndrome'. Additionally, it is crucial to avoid sunlight and sun exposure during treatment, protecting the skin with clothing and high-SPF sunscreen. Children should also follow these precautions. Some common side effects include fever, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, swelling of the extremities, stomach pain, and breathing difficulties. 

While on this medicine, promptly inform your doctor if you experience a sunburn, severe skin rash or blisters, bone pain, signs of adrenal insufficiency (chronic fatigue, muscle weakness, appetite loss, weight loss, abdominal pain), or signs of Cushing's syndrome (weight gain, fatty hump, rounded face, darkened skin, thinning skin, easy bruising, high blood sugar, excessive hair growth, excessive sweating). Inform your doctor if you have a known intolerance to certain sugars before taking Vorier 200mg injectionbecause this medicine contains lactose.

• Invasive Aspergillosis
• Candidemia in non-neutropenic patients
• Esophageal candidiasis
• Fungal infections (caused by Scedosporium apiospermum, Fusarium spp., and Fusarium solani)
• Candida infections
• Fungal infections in high-risk bone marrow transplant patients

Vorier 200mg injection works by blocking the production of ergosterol, disrupting fungal cell membranes and leading to cell death, ultimately eliminating the infection.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Vorier 200mg injection and can cause undesirable side effects.
